Genji is based on the world's first novel ever written The Tales of Genji, Genji Dawn of the Samurai follows the tragic tale of the Genji samurai clan and their destruction at the hands of the Heishi a brutally violent clan of Samurai. in the game you play as two surviving members of the Genji clan, Yo****une and Benkei and their quest to stop the Heishi clan from gaining control of all japan.The game is beautiful with some of the best graphics on the playstation 2 and every move in the game was choreographed by actors, they game's creators wanted this game to be very authentic so there are only english subtitles in this game every word in the dialouge is spoken in japanese. during the game you play as both Yo****une and Benkei swapping between the two every now and then and finding weapons and armor and accessories that you can equip them with, the only bad part about the game is that its short and is around 7 to 10 hours long.
