God of War with over 12 awards for game of the year in 2005 it's the best actions adventure game of 2005. God of War follows the tale of Kratos an ex-spartan from greece, during the game he fights a massive battle against barbarians and his army is on the brink of destruction and Kratos faces the end of his career and his life but when he prays to Aries the God of War he hands himself over as his eternal servent and the god saves his army from death. but when he does this he becomes Aries's puppet and does things that even the gods think is unthinkable. one day when Kratos attacks a village he accidentally kills his wife and daughter and swears revenge agaist the god that gave him power. this game features some of the best graphics on the playstation 2 and has a powerful and emotional storyline that grabs you. this game is n for he faint of heart as it has nudity, and tons of blood and gore. check it out if you want its a masterpiece on the world of video games.
