Megaman NT Warrior by malonromani
MegaMan: NT Warrior by Ryo Takamisaki is based on the MegaMan video games (I'm not sure which ones, since I've never played any of them, although I have a freind who is a total MegaMan geek.)
Anyway, the story follows Lan Hikari, a fifth-grade "NetOp" (Net Operator) and his "NetNavi" (Net Navigator), MegaMan. Lan likes using MegaMan to "NetBattle", or fight with other NetNavis, but the Net is anything but a game. When Cyber-Inspector Oda finds that Lan and MegaMan have the rare ability to fuse consciousness, he enlists the pair as part of a special division of the NetPolice to go up against evil villans plotting to take over the world via cyberspace. Lan, MegaMan, and their friends go up against some classic MegaMan villans like Dr. Wily and Bass, getting stronger with each battle. That basic idea just keeps repeating.
I was surprised by how much I liked this manga, given that I don't know much about MegaMan. The art style is very nice, and the action is really quick, but a lot of thought was put into the story, so you just want to keep reading to find out what happens next. The mood of the story can shift suddenly, making sure that there's always some humor even in the most serious scenes. I would recommend this to people who like any type of action manga, whether they've played the games or not.
